Dr. A. Karthikeyan, currently, working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Periyar University, M.E. degree in Engineering Design from Anna University and Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai. He has an experience of 15 years in teaching and Industry. His research interests are Natural fiber Composites, and he published more than 15 research papers in International/National Journals and conferences.  He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), (MIAEGN), (MIRED), (MIEDRC). He has filed six patent, out of that three under complete registration. He has completed a NPTEL course.  He has received seminar grants from various funding agencies like AICTE, ICMR, and TNSCTS. He has organized few workshop and seminar programs and he has attended more than 20 FDP/Workshop/Seminars. Under his guidance tow research scholars are doing Ph.D research. He is acting as a reviewer for few international journals.
