Abroad Visits

Dr. R. Azarudeen and Mr. E. Sudalai Manikandan, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering is currently performing a research work on “Polymeric scaffolds for the bone regeneration and Modeling & Simulation in Tissue Engineering applications” at University of Bergen, Norway. The objective of the research visit is to carry out a research work on “Polymeric Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering: Synthesis of natural and synthetic polymeric composites towards the bone regeneration, characterizations using advanced techniques and in vitro – in vivo studies” at Tissue Engineering Lab, Department of Clinical Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Bergen, Norway in collaboration with Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and Haukeland Hospital, Bergen for a period of 3 months from 26th April 2017 to 20th July 2017. The project is funded under UTFORSK project ‘Nanomaterials for Energy and Health Applications with ICT as Enabling Technology’ (UTF-2016-LONG-TERM/10051), Norway.

Dr. R. Azarudeen visited Multimedia University, Malaysia and signed MoU between CIT and MMU in various aspects of research collaboration followed by several exchange programmes. Also, Dr. R. Azarudeen made a platform to explore research ventures in the research area of Environmental Hazardous Assessment and Detoxification using Polymeric Membranes during the period 6th – 8th  August 2018.
