Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

B.Tech Chemical Engineering

  • PEO1: Students will exhibit professional knowledge in understanding of chemical processes, design and development of chemical equipments in chemical industries.
  • PEO2: Students will be able to perform research and development work by utilizing the experimental skills, mathematical tools and specialized softwares.
  • PEO3: Students can adapt to changes in technologies through continuous education and will be able to contribute to national and global economic growth with socially responsible practices.

M.Tech Chemical Engineering

  • To acquire advanced concepts of Mathematics, chemical and allied engineering subjects that leads to in-depth knowledge
  • To develop an understanding of engineering principles related to the major aspects of Chemical Engineering phenomena, processes and products.
  • To develop ability to obtain data and information necessary to formulate and to solve problems related to Chemical Engineering Equipment/ unit operations / unit processes with or without the support of software.
  • To analyze and synthesize the knowledge of various courses to design / model / innovate on the existing equipment/ processes
  • To integrate knowledge of core and allied courses to comprehend the multi-disciplinary nature of technological and organizational problems
  • To develop inter-personal skills, managerial skills, communication skills, professional ethics & values and entrepreneurship needed for professional success and growth of the organization and individual.
  • To recognize the need for research and lifelong learning to adopt oneself in the face of ever changing technologies and practices and be alive to the needs of industry and society
