One Day Workshop

Automative Electronics

on November 8^th, 2010

    The one day workshop on  Automotive Electronics was conducted on November 8^th 2010 by the  Electronics and Communication Engineering department, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore  jointly with Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd., IETE Students Forum, CIT and the Industry Institute Partnership cell (IIPC),CIT.

   The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and professionals from the industry to focus on latest trends in Automotive Electronics. It also aims in establishing new collaborations in this area.

Session I of this workshop was on Vehicle Automation (Insight into Electronic Diesel Injection Control) by Sundararajan Ramalingam (RBEI/EEN1), Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd, Coimbatore.

Session II of this workshop was on Graphical System Design Enabling Tomorrow’s Automotive Design & Test by Mr.Rohit Khera, Field Technical Consultant,  National Instruments.

Session III was on the Advances in IN-CAR Navigation by  Mr. Vasanth Kumar Narayan, Senior Expert, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd, Bangalore.

Session IV was about the Applications of Embedded Solution Engineering in automotive Industry by Prof. K. Jayaraman, Mentor & Competency Developer, ICET, Bangalore.

Session V was about the Applications of Communication Engineering Technologies in Collision Avoidance Systems by Prof. K. Jayaraman, Mentor & Competency Developer, ICET, Bangalore.

Over 100 participants including UG Students, PG Students and External Participants were attended the workshop.
